Williamson, Inc. cuts ribbon on City eWaste facility
19 Jun 2025 - Williamson County residents have a new place to take their old electronics after the opening of City eWaste at the county landfill. Members of Williamson, Inc., City eWaste, and County Mayor Rogers Anderson cut the ribbon on the facility on Friday, June 13. Staff recycles old or broken electronics at no cost to county residents to avoid having devices dumped in landfills.

14th March 2025 - In 2018, Franklin local Matthew Rogers picked up a few rain-soaked servers from a yard sale, took them apart, and, after watching a few Youtube videos, removed and sold the most valuable components. Nearly 7 years later, Rogers’ e-waste company, City eWaste, has become the primary e-waste recycling company in Williamson County with 5 new convenience center drop-off locations around the county.
